Leandro Manzo
Elder
Gallery presents an exhibition of bronze sculptures and colorful
paintings which create an exciting and dramatic view of life
from two artists’ perspectives.
Leandro
Manzo of Los Angeles and Powell from North Carolina, have
created all new work for their exhibition. Form and Substance
opens in the Charlotte gallery on Friday, June 3rd at six
o’clock in the evening.
Manzo was born in Argentina in 1969 and is the fourth generation
of artists in a family of well-known artisans. The director
of the Museum of Visual Arts in Buenos Aires, Aldo Severi,
recognized the talent of the young Leandro Manzo and arranged
the first exhibition of Manzo’s work at the Museum at
the age of thirteen.
Leandros’s
paintings are included in several International public and
private collections in Argentina, Sao Paulo, Amsterdam, Barcelona,
London, Madrid, Paris, Vienna, Zurich, Mexico City, and Toronto.
This is his first exhibition at Elder Gallery.
